No Personal Data Collection: TextLib is a free tool that requires no account creation, login, or registration. We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any personally identifiable information.
No User Content Storage: All text transformations, symbol copying, and tool operations happen entirely in your browser. We never store, transmit, or process the text you enter into our tools.
Server Log Data: Our web server automatically collects technical data for security and operation purposes, including your IP address (anonymized), browser type and version, operating system, referring URL, date and time of access. This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure operation). Server logs are automatically deleted after 14 days.
Cookies and Local Storage
We use only technically necessary storage for basic site functionality:

Hosting and CDN
This website is hosted on a server provided by Hetzner Online GmbH (Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany). Hetzner processes server log data on our behalf. A data processing agreement (DPA) is in place pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.
We use Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA) as a content delivery network (CDN) and DNS provider. Cloudflare may process IP addresses and technical connection data to deliver content and protect against attacks. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. We process data exclusively on the following legal bases:
