Japanese characters bring a unique aesthetic to digital text. Our collection features hiragana, katakana, and special Japanese punctuation marks that are popular for aesthetic bios, anime-themed profiles, and designs inspired by Japanese culture.

Japanese writing uses three scripts: hiragana for native words, katakana for foreign words and emphasis, and kanji for Chinese-derived characters. Even if you do not read Japanese, individual characters from these scripts make beautiful decorative elements in bios and usernames that stand out from the crowd.

Our Japanese collection includes the complete hiragana syllabary, complete katakana syllabary, Japanese punctuation marks, special marks, and popular kanji characters used decoratively. These characters are especially popular in anime fan communities, aesthetic Tumblr layouts, K-pop and J-pop fan accounts, and vaporwave design aesthetics.

Pro tip: even single Japanese characters add instant aesthetic appeal to any profile. Popular picks include the katakana tsu for smiley-like aesthetics, the wave dash for decorative spacing, and the Japanese quotation brackets for elegant text framing.
