Terms of Service
Last updated: March 2026
By accessing and using TextLib (text-library.com), you agree to these terms of service. If you do not agree, please do not use our service.
Service Description
TextLib provides free online tools for copying and pasting symbols, emojis, fancy fonts, and text transformation utilities. All tools are provided as-is for personal and commercial use.
Acceptable Use
You may use TextLib freely for any lawful purpose. You agree not to attempt to disrupt or overload our servers, use automated scraping or bots to mass-extract content, reverse engineer or copy our software code, or use our service for any illegal activity.
Intellectual Property
Unicode characters, symbols, and emojis are part of the Unicode Standard and are not owned by TextLib. Our website design, code, and original content are protected by copyright.
Text you generate using our tools belongs to you. We claim no ownership over your output.
Disclaimer of Warranties
TextLib is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results will be accurate.
Symbol and emoji rendering may vary across devices and platforms. We are not responsible for how characters display on your device or the devices of others.
Limitation of Liability
TextLib shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service (which is zero, as TextLib is free). This does not affect liability for damages from injury to life, body, or health, or liability for intentional or grossly negligent conduct, which cannot be excluded under German law.
Changes to Terms
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of TextLib after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). If you are a consumer within the EU, you additionally enjoy the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence. Place of jurisdiction for all disputes is Iserlohn, Germany, insofar as legally permissible.
Severability
If any provision of these terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
