The alt code for € is Alt+0128. Hold Alt, type 0128 on the numeric keypad, then release. Make sure Num Lock is on. On European keyboard layouts, Ctrl+Alt+E or AltGr+E may work directly.

On a US Mac keyboard, press Option+Shift+2 to type €. On European Mac keyboards (UK, German, French), the shortcut may be Option+E or Shift+Option+2. Check System Settings → Keyboard → Input Sources for your layout.

On both iPhone and Android, go to the numbers keyboard (123 or ?123), then long-press the $ key. A popup shows €, £, ¥, and other currency symbols. Slide your finger to € and release.

It varies by country. In English and many EU countries, € goes before the number (€50). In French, German, Spanish, and Portuguese, it often goes after the number (50 €) with a space. Follow the convention of your target audience.

The Unicode code point for € is U+20AC (EURO SIGN). In HTML, use € or €. In CSS, use content: '\20AC'. In URL encoding, it's %E2%82%AC.

The € key placement depends on your keyboard layout. US keyboards don't have a dedicated € key — use Alt+0128 or copy-paste. European keyboards often have € on the E key (accessed with AltGr+E or Ctrl+Alt+E).
