Copy and Paste Symbols FAQ

Copy paste symbols are Unicode text characters (♥ ★ → ✓ ♪) that you can copy from a website and paste into any text field. Unlike images, they are pure text that works in bios, usernames, captions, messages, documents, and emails. They are part of the Unicode standard, a universal character encoding supported by every modern device and platform.

The easiest way is to visit this page in Safari, tap any symbol to copy it, then long-press in any text field and tap 'Paste'. You can also access some symbols through the built-in emoji keyboard (tap the globe icon), or go to Settings > General > Keyboard > Text Replacement to save frequently used symbols as shortcuts.
